WhatsApp supports basic text formatting using special characters. However, typing these characters on an Urdu mobile keyboard can be very frustrating because the cursor direction changes abruptly when switching between Urdu letters and English symbols.
- Bold: Add asterisks `*` around the text. (e.g. *اہم پیغام*)
- Italic: Add underscores `_` around the text. (e.g. _اہم پیغام_)
- Strikethrough: Add tildes `~` around the text. (e.g. ~اہم پیغام~)
